A Exciting Show
September 12, 85, Wembley Arena. It is the london venue of The Cure on the Head Tour for United Kingdom, releasing the LP The Head On The Door. The band was dived in smokes and light, with a public in black dress and hair as similar as the Mr Smith.
The first sign of the beautiful "Kyoto Song" already electrifies the public, preparing it for "Inbetween Days", the new disc hit. To listen to it and to be montionless is impossible. The band, wasting competence, it is also the same of the vinyl.
The sound of the group developed a lot since 79, time of the success of "Killing An Arab". Not only for the new instrumentalists' coming but also for its conception, more dancing and completes. The show doesn't present any depression moment. After "Inbetween Days", they play "Push", other new album success. Robert commands the dance and plays "Screw" (one of the london critics favorite songs).
It were 22:15:00 pm (the show began at 21:00) when the theater trembled before the first attempt of The Cure to leave the stage. But they come back and play "Close To Me", that perhaps is the great moment of the show. A new 'Thank you' and a new protest of the public. It's going and turns repeats, and in the third time the band gift us with "Six Different Ways" and "Wednesday", then the fans, finally, are satisfied.
