Robert Smith is one of the biggest against-senses of the pop.
There are one and a half decade as representative of the melancholy, ghostly Smith baled the people's
happiness (in the public and in the recording companies), with some of the great classic of the eighties,
baled by a stranger and irresistible nihilism and romantismo mixture. Who doesn't remember "Boys Don't Cry"
or "Inbetween Days"?
This belongs the second coming to Smith to Brazil. The first one, in 1987, was marked by devastating and
chaotic shows. His band no longer it is more the same, what caused deep effect in the sound of the Cure.
Lol Tolhurst, keyboard-former, has left the band wanting Robert Smith to go to the hell.
Still, Smith already spoke in the end of the band as the album Disintegration, in 1989, whose tour was
considered as the last. But Smith continued.
Ever since, the only new disc was Wish, in 1992. But the following year would still be accomplished two
other discs, both live, recorded in two of the 150 shows during the Wish tour. The first one, Paris, was
recorded in October of 1992 at Le Zenith, in Paris. The second, Show, recorded in USA, was released one
month before Paris.
The expectation to this Hollywood Rock is that Smith play in three hours some stuff of the new album. Light your
candles.
