The Cure: Wild Mood Swings
(PolyGram)
After several years without releasing a disc with unpublished music, The Cure set up a studio inside
England, locked itself and recorded a good album as it didn't happen from the half of the eighties. They are
fourteen tracks of very varied styles, mixing The Cure traditional sonority (“Want”), with more lively rocks
(“Mint Car”), and even latin games (“The 13th”). Robert Smith continues a great song writer and his voice
is inserted the melodies perfectly, sometimes sad, sometimes frank, that he created for the disc.
Quotation: great.
