Why "Vedi" is Misspelled..

Well, it was like this. The founding members of Team S&M were on a buying trip in the Orient to purchase a large quantity of decorative Team S&M clothing and colorful patches based on our heraldic crest. Surprise,... we were drunk. So as a result, during our negotiations with Mr. Wee So Cheap's Embroidery Service, we provided this fine craftsmen with inaccurate information. Specifically, "Vedi" instead of "Vidi". It was not until the entire custom order had been completed that we became aware of our error. At this point we had to make a justification, er... a... command decision. We reasoned that since only Latin Scholars (and perhaps some losers with too much free time on their hands) would be able to detect our error, and since we usually only hang out in dive bars, no one would notice. That, and we weren't about to pay Mr. Wee to redo the entire lot.

Now, this charade was working quite nicely until somebody came up with the bright idea of exposing the Team S&M lifestylings to the glare of the online community. Hence this voluntary admission of error. We might be the founders of Team S&M, but unfortunately (although we are loathe to admit it), we are also human. So, in the spirit of "The only difference between a mistake and a policy change is the person who made it", we have decided to retain this spelling henceforward... Deal with it...
