Obviously you don`t know a damn thing about jeeps, jeeps are the most capable
4 wheeler ever built. Why don`t you quit driving your jeep on road like a
sissy and do some modifications and take it off road like a real man

Grow up and quite complaining.

I have a friend that tells me ever time we go off roading that his JEEP
can out 4 weall me. That is the biggest bunch of bullshit I have ever
heard. That pos gets stuck at the drop of a hat. I have had to pull him
out a shit load. I'm a mosaic and I have fixed more jeeps than any thing
else.

I have a 1994 Jeep Grande Cherokee Limited that I bought used from a
dealer in 1996. I have not had that many problems until now. I
recently had all the interior lights come on when driving and even
removing the fuse would not get them to go off. In addition, the relay
that controls the security system (flashing lights and horns) buzzes
when the interior lights are on and the doors are closed and the engine
is not on. The jeep dealer says that the wiring harness that goes into
the door is brittle and all the wires are breaking and it needs to be
replaced. The part costs $484 (Canadian dollars) but what really bugs
me is that the wiring should be brittle when it is only 5 years old.
This worries me a lot, especially with all the other wiring in this
vehicle. I wonder if anyone else has had this problem?

I punched in "Jeep Sucks" through my search vehicle and came up to your page.
Would you like to hear my Jeep nightmare?

I purchased my 1999 Junk Wrangler from Ferman Automotive in New Port Richey, Florida in May of this year (1999) and have been driving it since. Ferman automotive offers a 100,000 mile power train warrantee over and above the standard factory warrantee on all of its new cars sold, which is why I bought it there. This weekend, I took it of road to have some fun. It is still stock with 3,000 miles on it. I went through approximately twelve inches of mud and the clutch stopped functioning properly. When it was out, the vehicle was in neutral and when depressed the vehicle was in gear. Totally backwards. When the vehicle was in gear (clutch depressed) it would only go 10 MPH. The beauty of the matter is that the dealer said it was not under warrantee because it was taken off road. It's a four wheel drive Wrangler with the OFF-ROAD package. If you can't take the as they call it "THE GO ANYWHERE VEHICLE" in a lousy foot of mud, what can you take? This is the short version of the fiasco. I did not even mention the fact that after getting the vehicle out of the woods, it took the tow truck 2 hours (another glorious factor of the warrantee, free towing (!)) to find the vehicle which was on a major highway. His office was twenty minutes away and he could not find the Jeep for two hours while I roasted in the Florida August sun. Well, as my blood boils at Daimler Chrysler and all of their evil ilk and my checkbook rests $300.00 lighter, I guess I have learned my lesson. DO NOT BUY A JEEP PRODUCT!!! If you must have a Jeep, do not buy it through Ferman Automotive.............They suck and the more people that know it the better. Please feel free to pass this message along or post it as you see appropriate.
