Mark Frankel
( Julian Luna on KINDRED: THE EMBRACED)

Classically-trained in some of Europe's most highly-regarded acting academies (including the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, studying with Jack Waltzer), Mark Frankel has worked in film, television and theater. A native of London, he's the son of a British Air Force pilot and the grandson of an accomplished concert violinist/conductor.

Frankel made his feature film debut starring as Leon in "Leon The Pig Farmer," which won the distinguished Charlie Chaplin Award at the Edinburgh Film Festival and the Critics Award at the Venice Film Festival. Most recently, he completed a starring role in the British film "Solitaire for Two," a romantic comedy.

For television, Frankel had the recurring role of Simon Bolt in the acclaimed series "Sisters" and was the lead in "Fortune Hunter." His other credits include playing Michelangelo in the mini-series "Michelangelo - A Season of Giants" and “Young Catherine."

On stage, he played lead roles in "A Streetcar Named Desire," as Stanley Kowalski; "Days of Cavafy" and "Agamemnon."
