I've been living in Japan for some time now - since April 1999. I didn't intend to stay so long, but life is good here. Not perfect, of course, but good. I have many friends and a good job. My Japanese is not bad. And I can easily get out of the city (Tokyo area) for mountain-biking, rock-climbing, hiking, snowboarding, and various other "dangerous hobbies" that my employer worries about.
Here are links to stories about my experiences here. I'm adding them starting from the oldest ones and it brings back memories!
