Don't anyone panic! The Gobbler is a Chevy. Ford Trucks Suck!! During the last few years, off and on, The Gobbler has seen some incredible sites and has had several owners! Little things don't seem to bother the Gobbler, you know things like water pouring in the doors or mud over the bumpers or both. The Gobbler is one big and bad truck. Trust me, mud holes, hole shots, pulling people out, mud bogs, snow drifts, flood areas and residental front lawns have all suffered at the paws of the Gobbler. Well, back to the story, the Gobbler is an 1980 Chevy Truck 3/4 Ton Heavy Duty. The Gobbler is powered by a 30 over Chevy 454 with a 850 Quadra-Jet and a 4 Speed Manual Tranny. The Gobbler also has a 4 inch Body Lift, all Rancho Suspension, and 38x14x16 TSL Super Swampers II.
Now, when all this is working like its suppose to, you can drop the Gobbler off the face of the earth and she launch your ass out of it like your in a rocket. The Gobbler has enough raw power to throw you back in the seat and keep you there, no matter what the terrian is. This is what we do, drink beers and tear up our trucks.
