~NOTE FROM THE WEBMASTER~ Unfortuneatly due to a MAD life, i havent been able to update this page in awhile. My plans for the Great Otternet havent been completed but i have started adding more links to unfinished pages i have started but never finished. Some of my plans I havent even started was a History of Madness page which would be sortof like my "OTTObiography" and a new complete art page. There is so much stuff to add, but not anymore intrest by alot of people. I started this page in the summer before I started my Freshman year of High School. I was 15 at the time. I am now 17, going into my junior year, and things have definatly changed. I have changed. My peers have changed. Right now I am the only one in my group of friends to have a continually updated page for the past 2 years. Everyone else, Mike, Vlad, AJ, lost intrest in making a web page. AJ stopped his page because he didnt like having a page that "if someone from somewhere else saw it, it would make no sense" (i.g a good example would be the H0UsE 0f PaiN! where if u were from California, u would not know who Vlad etc. was that were being hurt). I havent given up yet. This page has become a part of my life and will always be! Right now "The 0tternet" is part of 3 Geocities Accounts, 2 100mb Fortunecity accounts, and a Tripod account, not to mention, 2 v3 redirection links to not one but 2 of my pages so u dont have to type all the http://www.geocities... but only have to type "get.to/themadness" or "drive.to/the_future" AND not to mention one free domain "www.0tt.net" where the 0 is a ZERO! WOW! This site has grown! In total, i have about 250 megs of free space on the internet! It has been cool to have the privalage to say "go to my webpage" and to give ppl my links etc. I have other things such as an index of pictures of me but its not linked yet. So many good things have happend because of this page. This page is not jst something I own on the internet but it is a part of ME: a reflection of my character. It also shows a past full of old things that at present, have jst died away but bring back fun memories of what it was like to be ME before 1998. My ultimate goal is to have a gigantic webbased site about with java and javascript and a huge section devoted to the past adn everything it is and was. I want to add files to the recently linked "Art Index" (see Stuff Thats Mad) from my early childhood. I also want to add a page dedicated to all teh influential people in my life that had made a difference. I want to make GIF's of great things that happened and mad stuff in my head! If anything were to happen to me, my only request would be that my webpage would be spared and be told on the internet what has happend but be left as an online memorial to an era that I lived through. For any of u reading this who have lived on computers from the early-mid 90's to the present, if u can only stop and think about the GREAT change u and I haved lived through, u have NO right not to be baffled. From the early days of internet (what i call the AOL days) which a few sites existed and Geocities alotted its free ppl with 2megs of space to the TOTAL relience of a CIVILIZATION to the awsome power of the internet. Dont u remember the days when those bulky flip open cellular phones that u actually had to pull an antenna where new technology, now we can go on the internet with them! Just stop to think about how in just the past couple of years WE as PEOPLE have changed! I know I have since i made this page but unlike alot of my friends, I jst couldnt give up on this page even in the slow days! So much has happend all I want to do is give an hour long speach that u could hear via Real Player about how much EVERYTHING has changed around us! I feel the music (Toccata and Fugue in D minor by JS Bach) for this page was appropriate at the time just because it sounded "mad" but now i feel it is appropriate b/c it brings me back to the day I gave this page a structure and learned HTML and it helps me gaze back in awe of the awsomness of the changes of me, this page, my friends, life, and the world! If only I could tell u I feel like one of those old ppl sitting on a rocking chair remembering "the olden days" and missing them. It has been a fun 2 years, I am now looking to the future and seeing what it will be like when I go to college and not c anyone that became part of my life anymore, it makes me want to go back in the past and relive "back in the day" b/c it has made such an impact. My dream is that this page will be used as contact between me and an era that has gone by even as it is being lived. You can miss the past and relive it in mind but unless there is a LINK, the past WILL NOT be erased! That is the Intention of "OttX's Mad Lab, Home of the 'Otternet'"!!! For all of u who have supported me and "the Otternet" and have shown a positive impact in my life, thank you!

My name Dan (aka, OttX, MAD SCIENTIST, POTATOGUN, SPUDGUN, CRAZY OTT). I am 17 years old, live in an overpopulated suburb in northern New Jersey, and I am taking adderall and ritalin for ADD(Attention Defacit Disorder). My hobies are pondering mad ideas of projects that are so insane, i started to be called, "Mad Scientist" by one of my classmates in school, riding my 1990 Honda XR200r dirt bike (currently out of service :-( ) , (people thought i was "Mad" when, for a social studies video project of the Revolutionary War, i, playing the part of paul revere, drove down my street at 10:00 at night yelling "The British are coming!") shooting my potato cannon, playing paintball, playing computer games, playing football, swimming, spring track & field, driving 'round town (i recently got my permit), driving my woodscars, working on engines, cleaning up the woods behind my house for either a paintball field and a dirt bike track, reading, designing, and sleeping.
