Poul Vinther: Danemark, He was the first one who showed much interest in G-Wagens. Poul has a 3ooGD, and had many training on the 240-GD in the Danish army, so he got wide experiences on the G's. Now he's a got a Brand new 1997 290GD (461).

Lebanon, professional G-Wagen driver/collector, I met him during the last 4x4 Rally at the ATCL(21st of august 1998). He participates in all 4x4 events in Mercedes G, frequently in a cabriolet 280GE, and sometimes in a 280GE Long wheel-base. He organized a G team called " 4x4 Benzi Team "

Philippe Abboud: Lebanon, also professional 280GE LWB driver from several years. The last rally he was driving the Closing car. He is one of the "4x4 Benzi team".
Axel Pauletto:Argentina, one of the few G owners in Argentina, he has a 1981 240GD short, in very good shape, love it very much!

Sigbjorn Vigeland:Norway, has a 1981 300GD, in a very good shape, do lot of off roading and the G can handle it all. The following photos are from a trip to ICELAND, in the G.
Iver Dibwad:Norway, has a 1987 280GE, they made it look like a 463 serie from the 90's ,(front-seats, a new-look (including new bumpers, wheelarches, grille, headligth surroundings, rear-ligths, new mirrors, 8 alloy wheels, running-boards and air condition). He also has a 1981, 300GD
Iver's 280GE, and the 300GD on the right.
VINCE Sweeney: Roanoke, Virginia-USA., has a 300GD, now looks as new after a Re-painting operation.

Jorg Wohner: Sweden, has a wonderful 1992 300 GE, with full-options. He once met Mr. Poul Vinther in Denmark.

Javier Sachitella: Buenos Aires , Argentina, has a 240GD LWB, that was for the Security Guards of the Country. In fact one of the rare G owners in Argentina. Thanks to the Internet he met Axel Pauletto, another G owner in Buenos Aires.

Jon P Lindhjem: Norway , His G is a 240GD, from 1984 , 10 Seater bus, 2 in the front and 8 in the back, the G was in the Norwegian Army. He also has a 1942 GMC 352 Hovitzer Tractor 6X6 also from the norwegian army.
