Well, I have decided to start a new project. I will be retiring the Bad Binder. I have owned this truck since 1980. It is time to build a new one. I know all you die hard IHC fans are going to give me grief. The new project is going to be a CJ-7. I still am a IHC fan but I am a Jeep fan also.
Well at least the frame and tub are going to be a CJ-7, the rest of it will be my Scout!!. I will be using all the drive train, transmission, transfer case, and all the goodies that are on it. The power plant is going to Chevy Power. The suspension I plan on using is a SOA in frt. With modified wrangler springs, and a ¼ elliptical set up in the rear.
The plan is to have the engine & transmission ready for the jeep before I tear down the Scout. This way I will not miss a wheeling season. The Scout will be wheeled at least one more season.
I will be posting pictures as the project progresses.
