Bernardio's NFS3 Design Page

I bought the game Need For Speed III many moons ago, but I still find it enjoying driving around those cool cars. I just can't get over how fun it is to watch a hot pursuit replay when you're minds in lala land from smoking crank minutes before! (j/k) What really made this game stick was the ability to add cars. After years of enjoying other creator's cars, I decided to contribute a little something back to the N4S3 community. So, this is what the page is about. My cars! My designs! (well, modified designs of other people's cars) DODGE NEON R/T Sedan Version 1.1 This is the very first car I made. I couldn't tell you how much time I spend perfecting the mesh. I know there are still some problems, but I feel the car is ready for release. I modified a Lexus into a Dodge, Heaven forbid! I think the textures are pretty kick-ass and over all, I'm happy with what I made! Description: Dodge Neon R/T Sedan Colors: Bright White, Gloss Black, Flame Red and Intense Blue Known problems: Window normals suck and wierd performance Modified from: Ryuji KAINOH's wonderful Lexus IS200, Thanks for the permission =) Tools used: MRC Cartool by EA , VivWizard 0.7 by Jesper Juul-Mortensen, CarCad v1.35 by Chris Barnard and Photoshop Updates: Well, I've add the ability to choose with stripes or without and gave the intense blue a more intense-ness to it. Now there's a loading slide to make things more official. I also played with the mesh so things should look a little different. (hopefully for the better) I've also worked on the car's performance so things might be a little more realistic. I know you wanna download it. So here you go! The recently updated Neon R/T Sedan Version 1.1 A Taste of what's cooking If you're a freak like me, you know what this car is! A Nitro Yellow-Green Neon. I'm working on the base model because there fun to race agains in the R/T plus there are more colors to choose from. Let's see.. we got White, Black, Forest Green, Alpine Green, Flame Red, Intense Blue, A Funky Blue, A funky Purple, Nitro Yellow Green, Bright Platinum, Cranberry Pearl and I think that's it..?.. Installation Instructions Download the zipped file. Create a directory in the carmodel directory called nrts. ie.. C:/games/nfs3/gamedat/carmodel/nrts Unzip the files into the new directory. Enjoy zipping along in your new R/T! Finally I'd like to thank NFSCheats and Hacked4Speed for providing me with the much needed info to create cars and Ryuji KAINOH for permission to modify his car.
