This was the first truck I ever owned.  I bought it from my friend Pablo for $1300.  At the time the body was mint with a new paint job and no rust or dents.  Within 3 days of purchase I was out wheeling the truck at a local spot and managed to rip off one of the glasspacks.  For about a month I rode with just a bare header,  boy was the truck loud.  I've gotten reports of being heard 5 blocks away from my friends house.    This beast was a blast to drive.  I had a lot of fun wheeling it at the local spots.  On one occasion I got stuck so bad down at the powerlines that we had to leave the truck for the night until my uncle rescued me with his old Ford dumptruck the next day.  Eventually all of the abuse from wheeling took it's toll.  One ill fated day when I tried to hop a curb in the high school parking lot the rear pinion just blew right out of the third member, leaving  a gaping 6" hole in the diff casing.  Since owning this truck I have fallen in love with fullsize Fords and have yet to go back to a car.  I think I'll probably be driving trucks for the rest of my life.
