Miscelaneous photos from the Lake Isabelle trail

Above: This is the river crossing at the entrance to the trail. There is an easy route for stock vehicles but I prefer the idiot route that I am taking now. Some days we spend a couple hours here with people getting hung up BIG TIME! Below, just about through the washout at the upper section of the trail. NOTE: this section of the washout has been pretty much paved.... the line over the stump and rock that I am crossing here is no longer necessary... I think they got some bus' through here.

Above: More of the upper section near the end of the trail before this spot became easy. If you were to try to go around the rock and stump, you probably would have rolled. Now you can go around it. Below: Julie asking if we can turn around ;-) And the hill just past the bridge.

Above: Coming back down the trail after the washout. I WILL say that this section has gotten more difficult and larger rocks have been turned up.
