Big Boot 2000 Trail Ride

June 17 & 18 Big Lagoon, CA

The Far West Motorcycle Club put on a great ride on Simpson timber land. On day one we covered over 100 miles of twisty singletrack in the trees and some doubletrack. On day two the course was run backwards (mostly). Conditions were great, with dust only on about 5% of the route. The trail would often become "slicker than snot" in the trees. Always a blast.

Dave taking a moment to enjoy the forest primeval.

Huge trees, dense ferns and moist trails...Life is good!

Rob and Dave using their headlights!

Dave demonstrating his "Flying-W Wheelie". I asked him to do something memorable for the camera...he did not disappoint!

Dave stopping to smell the flowers and eat the doughnuts.
