Buckeye Walnut Creek Farm is a small farm dedicated to producing top quality affordable miniature horses and rabbits. We are located about 20 minutes south of Columbus, Ohio on 19 acres. Our proven breeding philosophy has been tested in the show ring and proven successful. Walnut Creek Farm has produced numerous winners who have won top honors at the highest levels of competition. Although we have been raising rabbits for over 35 years, we did not concentrate on the Netherland Dwarf breed until 1979. Getitia, obtained her ARBA judging license in 1994 and has judged numerous speciality, national and convention shows. Horses have been around in our family for over 30 years. Our early breeds were Arabian, Appaloosa and Quarter Horses. Getitia's very first horse was an American Saddlebred. In the early 1980's, we showed heavily on the Arabian circuit even winning a National top ten (3rd) award in 1984. Then in the early 1990's miniature horses arrived at Walnut Creek. We are delighted to share with you our exciting world of miniatures - both rabbits and horses.

Netherland Dwarf Breeding Philosophy We breed for "type" per the ARBA standard. Shaded and AOV varieties are our specialty. Miniature Horse Breeding Philosophy Our goal is to produce miniature horses with Arabian type who have excellent movement, color and balance of body. We specialize in 32 to 34 A size AMHA/AMHR and 35 to 38 B size AMHR/ASPC miniatures.
