FEES:
Every owner will bring or send $75 prior to or at the draft. Teams that do not send the money prior to the draft will not be allowed to make any transactions or trades until the money is received. If by the end of the second week the entry fee money is not received, the commish will get another owner for that team. Once a new owner is located, the owner will have 72 hours as a final chance to keep their team.
DRAFT:
The draft will last 9 rounds. Each owner will have 1 minute to select a player. The draft order will be reversed each round. Each owner will draft (2) QB;s, (3) RB's, (4) WR's, (2) kickers, and 1 defense/special teams. Each team must keep three players from last years team. These three players need to be off your final game's roster. The deadline for keeping players will be around 1 week prior to the draft. Owners will be notified of this deadline date. After the deadline, but prior to the draft, the only changes that can be make are season ending injuries. If one of your keeper players has a season ending injury you may select another player off you previous year's roster, as long as it is still prior to the draft.
STARTING LINEUP:
Each owner will submit a starting lineup consisting of (1) QB, (2) RB's, (3) WR's, (1) Kicker, and their defense. For NFL weeks that do not have early games (Thurs., Fri., or Sat.) the lineup must be in prior to the kickoff of the first Sunday game. For early games you must decide prior to the start of the first game that day only on players that are playing that day. For example, if you have 1 QB playing on the laet Thanksgiving game and the other on Sunday, you must decide which QB to start prior to the kickoff of the first game on Thanksgiving. If you do not, the Commish will start the QB you started on the previous week. The rest of your lineup would be due Sunday. If a starting lineup is not received in time, the commissioner will use your last week's starting lineup, and you will be fined $5.
AUTOMATIC PLAYER SUBSTITUTION:
If a player doesn't play at all in a game due to injury or benching, the commissioner will automatically use the team's substitute player. For example, if on a Monday night game Bret Favre gets injured during the warm-up, the commissioner will automatically use the team's other QB. If Bret Favre is injured on the first snap of the game there is no substitution.
SCORING (OFFENSE):
Rushing: 6 points for a touchdown. 3 points for rushing 75 yards in the game.
2 points for a 2 point conversion. 1 point for every 25 rushing yards thereafter in the game.
Receiving: 6 points for a touchdown. 3 points for receiving 75 yards in the game.
2 points for catching a 2 point conversion. 1 point for every 25 receiving yards thereafter in the game.
Passing: 6 points for a touchdown. 3 points for passing 250 yards in the game.
2 points for throwing a 2 point conversion. 1 point for every 25 passing yards thereafter in the game.
(-2) points for throwing an interception.
Kicking 3 points for kicking a field goal add 1 point to field goals between 50-54 yards.
1 point for kicking the extra point. add 2 points to field goals of 55 yards or more.
SCORING (DEFENSE):
6 points for each defensive touchdown scored. 3 points for allowing under 10 points.
2 points for each safety. (-3) points for giving up over 30 points.
10 points for a defensive shut-out. (-10) points for giving up over 40 points.
Note: Even if a team gives up points offensively, it counts against your defense. For example, Dallas gives up 7 points in a game and it came off an interception... it does not count as a shut out.
SCORING (SPECIAL TEAMS):
Your defense is also your special team. If your special team scores a touchdown on a kickoff or a punt return, that is 6 points.
ROSTER CHANGES:
Dropping Players: A player (starter or reserve) can not be dropped once the game that that player was involved in starts.
Weekly Draft: There will be a weekly draft used to distribute players. The weekly draft will start after the first game. So the time from after the preseason draft till the end of the first game players not drafted will be available on a first come first serve basis. The weekly draft works like this, from the kickoff of the first game on Sunday till Wednesday at 10 pm Pacific Time (12 noon Pacific Time for weeks that have Thursday games) teams can request players. On Thursday (Wednesday night for week with Thursday games ) the commish will award players that were requested, using the following system:
> Worst team would get first choice all the way down to the best team. The order is reversed just like our draft.
> the order for determining worst team is established as follows
1. worst record
2. lowest points
3. draft order ( highest pick ie #1 in preseason draft, gets higher pick)
For weeks that only have Sunday and Monday games the commish will award players on Thursday. On Friday, Saturday and up till kickoff on Sunday any player that was not awarded will be available on a first come first serve basis as a Free Agent.
For weeks that have Thursday games the Commish will award the players on Wensday night and any player not awared can be picked up on Thursday,
Friday, Saturday, and till kickoff on Sunday.
Any player who is dropped (either by the weekly draft or through the free agency method later in the week) will be available to be picked up the following week through the weekly draft.
Examples of a weekly draft list:
Example #1: Pistols choice #1: drop Tim Dwight pick up Donte Stallworth. Choice #2: drop Tim Dwight pick up JJ Stokes. Choice #3: drop Tim Dwight pick up Santana Moss
Example #2 Pistols choice #1: drop Jake Plummer pick up Kerry Collins. Choice #2: drop Tim Dwight pick up Donte Stallworth. Choice #3: drop Balt Def pick up Philly Def.
NOTE: You may get all or none of your choices.
Trades: All trades must be approved by the commissioner. Trading strart when the draft starts tand the trade deadline is November 16th at 11pm Pacific. Any player may be traded for any player, even if they're not the same position. You may also trade one player for multiple players. You may also trade a player/players for next year's draft picks.
Injured Reserve: Each team will have one IR option for the year. The IR option can only be used after the weekly draft is finished. For example , Kurt Warner is out 3 weeks and your backup is on a bye. After the weekly draft you can put Warner on IR and pick up any available QB. At the end of Monday night football you must then drop one of your QB's.
