RIDES

Oh man...I love this truck, it started out a '95 GMC and  Jody is turning it into a masterpiece.  A nice 5/7 drop, 17inch wheels, low profile tires, a sweet color, and clear tail lights and markers make me envious.  The engine also contains many upgrades including wires and a shiny round air filter.  (Thank you for correcting me, Jody, what other engine mods?)  In the cab, a custom stero rocks the fillings out of the old people in  town. This 1997 S-10 ext. cab sportside belongs to Mike at Michigan State University.  It is a very clean ride with the factory ZQ8 package.  Mike has put a K&N air filter in the engine, a Gibson Exhaust out back, and various stero components in the cab for his listening pleasure.  The wheels you see are stock but the Goodyear 235/55/16 GTII's are not.  Mike also has installed a few other dress-up items suchs as clear front corners and a speed grille aluminum insert.  Well, it sure looks better than my S-10!  Go to Mike's page to learn more.

If you have been in the Chat room at Sportruck.com, you have seen our friend Nuke.  Well, here is his 89 Toyota.  Nuke was so kind as to include a list of mods, so here they go:  A JBM chrome and billet grille, bumper and valance, Grant steering wheel, Hotshot fullstake intake, 15x7 American Racing rims, Dual catback exhaust, a Kenwood CD player, two Infinity 6x9's in the doors, and very soon a 2-link full airbag setup to lay frame.  Man, I can't wait to see that.  Go to Nuke's page to learn more.

This is Mike's 82 Sonoma/ 86 Blazer.  That's right.  The front half of the frame is Blazer material. The bed is a one-piece fiberglass assembly from Choo-Choo Customs.  Mike says that it looks like a bathtub...well, he's right!  Just recently, this truck was brought down out of the clouds to give it a more aggressive stance.  Most exciting of all is the Trans Am 355 Tuned Port Engine that is going to be installed soon.  Can't wait. Mike, keep me posted.  Go to Mike's Page to learn more.

This piece of work is from AREA51RCIN@aol.com.  It is a 1994 GMC Sonoma with a 3/4 drop and Bilstein shocks at the corners.  The rolling stock consists of 15x7 American Racing "Nascar Style" rims with 235/60/15 BFG's up front and 255/60/15 BFG's out back.  A pair of PIAA 1200 fog lamps in a Street Scene front valance add to the front.  The engine is a whole different story...  It is a 2.2L 4 banger with a Hot Shot Custom intake, custom built exhaust, Kamikaze headers, a Custom Ground camshaft, a Center Force Clutch, 4.10 gears with a locker out back, a Jet Chips chip, and a 60 shot dry single fogger kit.  Phew...  Future mods for this truck include a ram air hood, and changing half of the back bumper for a custom roll pan.

Here is Matt's 1996 S-10 V-6.  Matt started right away by adding an AIRAID intake for induction.  He notcied the difference in power, and lusted for more.  To achieve this, he installed a Hypertech chip, JBA headers (8.5 hours of work, ouch), and a full exhaust set-up from the y-pipe to a 3 chamber Flowmaster with dual outlets.  On the exterior, Matt lowered his horizons with 2 inch front spindles and 3 inch blocks, with front and rear sway bars for stability. Lastly, new rims and 245/45/17 rubber were put on to enhance the truck even more.  Go to Matt's page to learn more.

First things first...this 1991 Blazer has a 355 Chevy small block with a shift kit in it.  Nice?  I think so.  Oh yeah, this is Mike Petro's Blazer, lucky guy.  Let's start with the outside.  See those rims? Those are Ultra 16inch Stilleto wheels with 245/50ZR16 tires.  The drop, you say?  A 4 inches up front and out back have been taken off thanks to Belltech.  Also outside are a roll pan, front airdam with 4 inch foglights, a billet front (grille and emblem), and a LED third brake light. Inside are 2 10" subs powered by Kenwood Amps.  There are also 6.5 Infinity components in custom door panels, a Kenwood head unit/CD changer and a Sony Equalizer.  One word: Cool.
