Believe it or not, Daniel's Corvair Funfest is not the only Corvair-related website in Cyberspace ...

Corvair Parts Suppliers:

The Corvair Ranch -- they don't have a web presence (except perhaps for my virtual tour), but they're my number one choice for Corvair items. Located in Gettysburg, PA.

Clark's Corvair Parts -- Located in Shelburne Falls, MA

Corvair Underground -- Located in McMinnville, OR, The Corvair Underground is owned and operated by Corvair guru Lon Wall. I've called Lon with technical questions, and he was nice enough to spend long periods of time helping me.The parts I've ordered from the underground are of high-quality and are well-packed. I don't mind paying higher shipping fees to have parts sent to me cross-country from the Corvair Underground.

Larry's Corvair Parts-- While spending Christmas and New Years in California (December 1996), I visited Larry's Corvair Parts, a tidy shop located in a rather gritty section of South-Central Los Angeles (they've since moved to new digs). I was treated with a great deal of courtesy by the fellow who happened to be manning the shop while Larry was elsewhere -- he was so amazed that a Corvair owner from the East Coast would make it a point to stop by! I have only ordered one item from Larry's and thought it an exceptional value for what I paid. (Incidentally, I saw no less than six Corvairs tooling around the streets of Southern California -- no doubt, the result of both pleasant whether and a culture that views the automobile as a veritable icon. You won't find that on the right coast!) Larry's also has the best website of any Corvair parts supplier (I really enjoy seeing before and after restoration pictures).

Corvair Doctor-- I've only ordered a t-shirt from "Doc" Harrington, but I've emailed him with Corvair tech questions, and he took the time to reply. The t-shirts have the Corvair Doctor's logo, which is really spectacular. The Doctor practices in Southern California.

Dream C.A.R. Auto -- I've never ordered anything from them, but I'm absolutely geeked that there's a Corvair parts supplier/restoration shop on Long Island (I'm originally from Queens, the armpit of America). Next time I return to the homestead, I'm going to visit these guys.

Unca Marvy's R&B Homepage -- My father's on-line home. Dad has the distinction of being one of the world's foremost authorities on 40s and 50s R&B music. Check out his latest work -- the first- ever full-length book on the Ink Spots -- on Amazon.com.

It May All End Tomorrow -- Heaven knows, perhaps the net's best Smiths/Morrissey site.

The College of William & Mary -- Founded in Williamsburg, Virginia in the Year of our Lord 1693, William & Mary is the ancient and esteemed alma mater of both Thomas Jefferson and me too. And like TJ, I got a chance to run around in silly eighteenth-century garb while serving as a minuteman at Colonial Williamsburg.

Bimmers.com (2002 page) -- Corvairs kick butt, but my 1976 BMW 2002 handles the daily commute to the office. The Bimmers.com '02 page is the best regarding the blistering buzz-bomb.
