Chopper Riders Online is now officially on the Web. Our Second Edition is now up and running strong. With over a thousand hits in less than three weeks, I would venture to say that the I-zine is becoming very popular. We have received hits from all over the world including the former USSR, Japan, Belgium, Germany, and many others. We appreciate the traffic and hope we are bringing you an I-zine that informs and amuses you.

A new feature of Chopper Riders Online is a message board. Feel free to drop in and check it out. We call it the Shade Tree and we have a lot of fun with it.

Since my last update, our friend and fellow chopper enthusiast PackRat has taken on a major project. He has purchased a brand spanking new Evo motor from the "factory" and will be installing it into a radically modified Panhead frame. Keep in mind that PackRat is a welder by trade, so you can count on this being a one of a kind ride. He has spoken to me of a 3/8 stainless pencil rod for his bitch rack, and it looks like he will be using an AMF H-D Sprint gas tank. With the parts he has now, I can promise it will be a piece of art. Beginning with a 1970's era D&D 20" over front end, added to a raked/stretched Pan swing arm frame with a weld on hard tail. It promises to be a sight.... Can hardly wait. We will document PackRats progress thru the building of this monstrosity, and keep you all informed. He has little patience, so look for it to be on the road very soon. Below is a little taste of what to expect...

Update to the update, Packrat has completed the mods necessary for the evo motor to fit into the old Pan frame...yes friends, the front section of this frame is from a 59 Pan. He has also purchased a new four speed tranny, and a buttload of other parts, his ride is coming along nicely, stay tuned for updates as he progresses.

Looks like we're gonna need a shoe-hornTHIS is how you fit an evo motor into a pan frame.Anyone remember this mod with Shovel Motors?

Well, as of 6/13/99, I have managed to acquire some more pics and some information on some really cool choppers that will be featured in upcoming issues. There are a couple of Triumph choppers, a Kaw, really neat rigid sportster, and a raffle Evo Chopper. (story to come soon)
