Family Poems & Stories

These are some of the reasons why we think of ourselves as the Arizona Coffee House Family, not just another group of chatters!

I think we need
a picture here,
suggestions anyone?

Please ADD your original poem or story to "poetry.html"

During the summer when I couldn't come into Arizona, I wrote some poems about the group and how much I missed it there. This is the first of those poems, there will be others later. I know that not everyone is mentioned in my poem, but I do want everyone to know that I had everyone in mind as I wrote it. I am still working to expand it. If you want to give ideas on how to improve it, I'm all ears.

Thank You,
FREUD

TO ALL ARIZONA
FRIENDS AND FAMILY

Time after time, day after day,
We enter the room, with little to say
Familiar names of those it seems we always knew
A page full of BIG RED LETTERS from "you know who"
A 'shooting' session when the page is bare
It is quiet, but your friends are all there
Can't get the coffee until the next page is clicked
Close the cellar door, someone has been tricked :)
We *LOL* behind our monitors at work
Or in the computer lab, anothers interest will perk
Even a P.M. from a friend will make your day
Thanks for the Rose(bud), there's more H.P's underway
The spots are full, and someone is bumped
I swear one day that deamon is going to get jumped!!
Coffee, cookies, and conversations are gr8!
But if you don't leave the lab now, you know you'll be late!
Step back into the 'Shadows' can't say goodbye yet,
Jim1's got the fire hose, now everyone is wet!
Someone throws a pie, duck under the table
Watchout, here comes Sharn and Sabel
Another hour has passed and you preferred to stay
You know Morgan has had a rough day!
Alas you tell the crew you must leave for the night
You try to send hugs in all sizes, and bright
Thanks to all my friends for the hours of time
I've spent laughing and smiling, not going out of my mind!
If you are 14 or 41, from Ohio, Texas or Norway
You make me smile when you "bounce" into my day
When we look in and say, "How small this group's gotten"
Good friends, good times over coffee are never forgotten
Not meaning to sound corny, and certainly not untrue
I think you all are the greatest, just wondered if you knew.....
