*~TAYLA'S WICKED PAGE!~*
Brilliant Work By A Brilliant Mind

You're listening to 'My Sharona' by The Knack

Well hello, dear friend, and welcome to Tayla's Wicked Page! Not to be confused with Tayla's Rockin' Page , my other HP. Check it out! It, as the name so aptly describes, ROCKS!

Okay, gotta let the ego loose a minute... *L* This whole Arizona homepage thing was ALL MY IDEA and I'm so flippin' proud of the way it's coming along... so right now I'd like to give some SPECIAL THANKS to all my wicked friends who went along with this wacky notion of mine and didn't think I was a nut... *huge hugs* I love you all!
"So," you ask, "Who is this Tayla chick I'm chattin' with in the Arizona Coffee House?"

"Well," I reply, "I'll tell you."
My name really is Tayla, (I was the victim of unoriginality it seems when it was handle-picking time) and I'm almost 21 years old. My birthday is March 8th, in case you want to send me a present or something. Right now I live in Alberta, Canada, but it seems like I'm always on the verge of moving somewhere. I'm formerly of Mesa, AZ, and spent the first 18 years of my life there, with my parents and my twin sister Gabrielle. I've been married since March of 97 to my awesome husband David, who is the greatest, most supportive and loving guy on this planet. He doesn't even mind it when I come home with a new tattoo or body piercing... he pretty much lets me be, which I appreciate unto death. I am Irish. I'm telling you this because it's a big part of my life. I have an Irish temper. I have (supposedly) Irish eyes. I even have an Irish tattoo (It's a shamrock). I also have an Irish page. Visit it, it's fun and interactive. I'm also Canadian, and American. (This is what happens when you move a lot, you become multi-national.) I suppose the US considers me an ex-patriate, since I was born there and left. Well, piss on them. Lower the taxes, get me some medical, and I'll be the first on the bus back home. But that's more of a story for the Irish Rant page than this one. Onwards to my high regards for the ACH and my friends, who I love to praise loudly and with bold colors until they blush.
I've been chatting in the ACH for what seems like forever, but in reality it's only been about a year. In this short time, I've made countless friends, namely those who have contributed to this homepage. They have always been there to support me though the best (Like the days before my marriage) and worst of times, (Remember the "I want to die I hate morning sickness" phase? *LOL*) proving they are as good friends to me as the ones I meet for lunch or a movie. Despite the fact that I've never met any of them in person (something we're trying to change) I would do everything in my capability to help them out. Because hey, what are friends for, anyway? I guess that's why I wanted to do this whole AZ Homepage idea... to give back a little of what they've given me. And because the idea ROCKS and our HP is better than any other ever attempted by a group... because, no matter how far from the ACH I've strayed, I keep coming back, because there's no better, kinder, sweeter, funnier bunch of people in the entire cyber-world. We're a real family, and I'm proud to be a part of it. Although it's true that we don't meet as often, and certainly not in the fashion that we used to (we're more of an ICQ family than anything now) it's no more difficult to pour out my heart to one of the old Arizona gang than it was when we met every night in the ACH.
So, that's me and my friends. As you can see, from the way this page is coming along so far, we work really well together, better than even I thought we would! It's fun to see the way things are progressing, it seems every time I turn around someone new has begun a page! We are truly a dynamic group of individuals, finding a little bit of ourselves in each other, despite our far-flung locations, different ages, ethnic backgrounds, religions, and sexes.
