Franco D'Andrea is an eminent jazz pianist who has been acclaimed all over Europe and the USA. He has a long cereer as a solo pianist and a composer. His style calls for some really serious listening.
The Franco D'Andrea Quartet is completed by the young musicians Aldo Mella-bass, Alex Rolle-drums and Andrea Ayassot-alto sax "whoese playing indicates that they possess vast knowledge and experience in the jazz tradition."
During his career Franco D'Andrea played with many important jazz musicians such as Pepper Adams, Barry Alsschul, Gato Barbieri, Enrico Rava, Chet Baker, Don Byas, Lee Konitz, Fade Yaula and many more.

THE TERROR OF TOSCA
The Opera Project Inc. supported by the Italian Institute of Culture and Allans Music presents a radical interpretation of the dramatic and musical structures employed by Puccini in this renowned specimen of Italian Opera.
The Terror of Tosca explores how opera reveals its peculiar function: to seduce by means of aesthetic pleasure and music. Its focus is on the aesthetics of speed - the exhilaration of pressed tempos, and it considers the thorny question of gender representation and its theatrical treatment.
The Opera Project was established in 1997 by Nigel Kellaway and Anette Tesoriero with a mission to examine theatrical structures in collaboration with a forum of prominent Australian artists.

The Italian violin virtuoso FABIO BIONDI and his legendary baroque ensemble Europa Galante are on their first Australian tour. They will perform the work which gave them international fame:
THE FOUR SEASONS
There has been a widely acclaimed recording of The Four Seasons on the Opus 11 CD lbel. It is now considered as its "definitive version".
The effect is like a well estored painting by Caravaggio or Tiepolo; the freshness of the colours, the dramatic contrasts of the composition, the very Italian bravura and the universality of the appeal suddenly leap across the centuries.
