Dodge Ram 1500 Quadcab SLT features:

5.9 Magnum V-8 engine

Auburn Gear Limited Slip Differential was added in the rear axle while the 4.10 gear was being put in to replace the factory 3.55 gear. This saved some labor cost. The gear change combined with the bigger tires, effectively putting extra 300 RPM on the tachometer. 70mph on freeway is now at 2300 RPM, not too bad.

305/70R16 (33") Goodyear Wrangler AT/S on stock chrome steel 16x7 wheels. These suckers really look good with the big and bold treads and yet very quiet on highways.

Dickcepek's 3.5" suspension lift . This lift was put in to accommodate the 33" tires. Front is lifted by coils and new Dick Cepek Series 77 shocks. Rear is lifted by Add-a-leaf and used 4 Rancho RSX shocks instead of Dick Cepek shocks.

Performance Accessories' 3" body lift was recently added to bring my truck even taller. The 33" front tires don't rub on the inside anymore whenever I'm making a tight U-turn. The kit for the Dodge Ram is more expensive than for other applications. Maybe it came with more parts like front bumper brackets? The rear bumper had to be cut and welded 3" higher.

Stainless steel rocker panels . The panels are custom made for this truck so they fit very nicely, except for 2 small pieces had to be re cut. So far I haven't seen any Dodge Ram on the streets with this trim yet.

Snuglid hard toneau cover. The quality of the lid is really good but I wish Snuptop people can design this big lid's locking mechanism like the one they have on the smaller Ford Ranger. One place in the center to lock and unlock and having the handle to lift the lid open is a much better setup than lock and unlock in 2 places (right and left).

. No comments here, just nice to have and to avoid scratches on the bed.

4 Pendaliner's Stainless steel Hide-A-Hook. These are almost flushed with top sides of the bed. The Snuglid can be closed without touching them. So far they look like a nice addition but I haven't had a chance to really use them yet. Don't know if they are strong enough for heavy tie down tasks.

VentShade's BugReflector II for hood and fenders. Don't think it matters much on tall trucks to have bug reflectors but they look nice so I added them in any way.

VentShade's vent visors on two side windows. These are actually quite nice to have since the windows can be rolled down a little bit for ventilation during the rain without getting your arm wet.

K&N air filter. Now I don't have to replace my air filter for the next 1 million miles, so why not. I just hope by letting more air in doesn't also mean letting more craps get into the engine.

A 3" big block, 3-chamber Flowmaster muffler with the 2.5" part of the stock pipe replaced by the 3" one. Topped it off with a chrome tip. The sound is now fantastic. Very throaty, an audible signal of a powerful engine underneath. Flowmaster claimed that with a combination of the K & N filter and their exhaust system my vehicle is now have an additional 10% of total previous horsepower. I did notice some performance improvement afterwards

Smittybilt side steps. No more complains from the women about having to climb into my truck, especially from the ones wearing skirts :-). A note on installation: a completely bolted-on system, use the shorter bracket for the front of the cab and the longer bracket in the back. Have someone help you holding up one end of the sidestep or risk getting a bump on your head. Total withstanding weight is about 300 lbs.

2 extra (6"x4" 100 Watt/ ea) lights were added to the rear bumper for backup (or tailgaters deterrent) purposes. These 2 mounted easily using the existing holes in the bumper. 2 Rally's driving and fog combination lights was added using a custom-made brackets to fit nice and snuggly into the 2 rectangular areas in the front bumper. Now I have a total of 4 fog lights and 4 driving lights. The best part is that they all can be turned on all at once :-).

Slotted tail light covers added. I like it more than the look of the standard Ram's tail lights.
