Custom Bike Trailer





There was a great article in surfing magazine oct. 07 here.
It has lead me to this. a modified adams "trail-a-bike".





once again, i've dusted off the steel fabrication tools and made my vision into a reality.



those are 3/4 chain links welded on to accommodate the hooks of tie down straps



new handle bar piece, just slides into place and does not rotate. (mounting bolt not in picture)



I wanted to keep it simple and as light weight as possible, so, no rear board support.
the rear of the surfboard can just rest on top of what ever is piled on the flatbed, and get strapped down.



Just 2 welds to the trailer frame itself.



front mount clamps into seat post mount just like a seat post.



the ride is nice and smooth...
