The windshield is one of the few non-original parts on this jeep. The CJ-2A came with a split windshield that could open up as needed. The original was in terrible shape -- there were numerous drilled holes, the rust was nasty, and it was in just bad shape. To help speed up the restoration process (4 years was plenty long for me), I used different windshield that was in much better condition, but not quite original.
