Wow.... its been a while since I updated this page, but now I have pictures from the Detroit International Auto Show. I finally got them developed and scanned. I don't have a good page or thumbnails made for them yet, but it is still not too bad using the directory. They are kinda self explanatory. I can't say that the scans are great, as it was my first time using a scanner. There aren't too many VW's in there, because the VW area was packed with people. I did get the new GTI though, and a Passat. The rest of the pictures are pretty cool too... i guess except for the Joe Boxer van. :)

My car is kinda fixed. I got another house call from Foreign Auto Parts. (Who else is gonna do that?) When the guy got to my house, the car started right up, and we couldn't find anything wrong with it. It is really annoying. I just hope I don't get stranded with it again. I got some gas de-icer, and I hope that helps.
Also, Sunday I will be going to the Detroit North American Auto Show .
I'll take some pictures of the new VW's and have them on my pics page soon. I can take requests for pictures if anybody sees this in time. Well, off to the auto show.

This page is now listed on the big search engines... I know because I found it. :) My GTI is presently dead. Two nights ago it stranded my not too far from home. It was the first time I have been stranded by a car... but with any luck, on Friday I get a house call from my local foreign part place, oddly enough call Foreign Auto Parts. They are really cool there, and I guess that is a perk of having a VW in the GM town of Flint, MI. So far we thonk that it may be the fuel pump that went out. It stalled out on me after I got off the hi-way, and it wouldn't start after that. Eventually there will be a link on how to fix whatever is wrong with my car.
Well enough about my car. Today, I added the DejaNews search link to news groups. If you don't know what news groups are, they are a great rescource for almost anything. There is a really active newsgroup for water-cooled VW's that the link on top will search. Feel free to link my page, and give me your links to put up too.

Well, today I made all of the links work, even though most just say "coming soon." I also registered with a bunch of search engines, so hopefully I'll be getting some hits. I'll see if I can't get the links page actually up this weekend, and maybe another how-to. I have to put in new front speakers soon, so if anybody knows how they go in it would help. I'm not sure how to take the cover off.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Alright... Enough of that. I'm about to start school again, and I didn't get to the page over break, so not much has happened. I did add a counter, even though the page was up a couple of weeks ago. I don't think it'll be off by too much, seeing as how I have all this traffic and all. :) My door handles still work, but I did have to replace the starter a few days ago. That'll be another page one day. Really it wasn't too hard, but you do need a floor jack because of what I think is a bad design.

Well, my door handles finally went. I picked up a new set from the local junk yard (along with a few other things :) ) and installed them this morning. They weren't hard at all. I'll have the link on the side working pretty soon too. This page is also now good enough to be the index page. Enough of it works (or so I hope) to where it actually serves a purpose.

I think this will work well for personal/car/stuff page because everything is on one page, and the menu can hold all kinds of things. I can also just write something small in if I think of something.... w/o making a whole new page. I'm getting ready for finals right now, but after those, this page might actually look descent... and work. :) Today my door handles also started giving me problems. Up until now it took two tries to open the driver side door, but today it wouldn't open at all. That link about door handles on the menu will be up sooner than I thought.

I decided to start this new look..... I've seen a bunch of gaming pages, and this is what they're going to. I like it because it shows how long its been since a page has been updated, and nothing is erased. I got the menu bar idea from Zileas of Star Craft fame. This main page format came from gamers.com.
