did you know there is a jeep named dunatic. my uncles friend in portland ore. has a cj6 with a 350 chevy with 492 heads a vic jr. and a 750 holly, a muncie 4 speed and a narowed 9 inch with paddles and a four link rear susp. on the shaved tailgate it says
"dunatic"

Nice rail. I have a whitehill 2 seater with a rabbit 1.6 turbocharged and intercooled with two weber 2 barrel carbs.As long as the CVs dont explode when I let out the clutch it's pretty fast
I go to silver lake alot and hope to catch up with you out there.My buggy is lime green so it should be easy to spot.See ya in the dunes.

I like to go to sand lake just out of Tillamook,Oregon with my 68 baja bug.I have done a few mods.to the car like a 3 inch body lift,susp.lift front and rear and swapped out the swing axle tranny for a 3 rib bus IRS tranny and a JAMAR shifter. 16.50 paddl
s rear and 11.00 X 15 on front. Single handle turning brake. Poly buckets with custom seat tracks. Custom steering linkage. Coil over shocks all the way around.

I have a whitehill 2 seater with a rabbit 1.6 turbocharged and intercooled with two weber 2 barrel carbs.As long as the CVs dont explode when I let out the clutch it's pretty fast I go to silver lake alot and hope to catch up with you out there.My buggy is lime green so it should be easy to spot.See ya in the dunes. |

I could tell some real horror stories about what we called "dune Buggies" in the 50's. There were s me wierd designs in the beginning before the VW, mostly flathead Fords and Chevy 6's. |

Single handle turning brake. Poly buckets with custom seat tracks. Custom steering linkage. Coil over shocks all the way around. |
