Hollister the Place to Play

Hollister is located between San Jose and Montery in California. From San Jose it's only 45 mins south on interstate 101. At least once a month the group (Roger, Bob, Rich, Ron and myself) go down for the day (Sundays) and tear up the trails and drive golf balls off the summit. The park is not to big and it's not too small it's just right for a day run or for just a few hours. It has easy and hard trails.

While in Hollister there are some weird sights to be seen. If you look hard enough you will find animal lovers.

IT'S ROLL OVER TIME

Well I just had my first and I hope my last roll over. I was comming down from Hector Heights on Mc Cray road. My son and I were at the juction of McCray Road and Big Garner Springs Loop. I used the cutting brake to slide the buggy around the left hand hair pin turn. The right rear tire came off the bead and we found ourselfs off the road and on the side of the hill. Not knowing that I had a flat I tried to get the front end of the buggy pointing down hill. A brush tree limb or something got jamed into the flat tire and we rolled once. My little 9 year boy Michael was great. He was so cool. He did not cry or anything. He was a big help and I'm a very proud father. The picture below shows were the buggy stopped.

If anybody wants to go to Hollister Hills and wants to have somebody show them around. E-mail me and we can set up a time and I'll meet with you.
