Travel News for this weekend:

On the Victoria Line, all weekend, buses replace trains between Brixton and Victoria, calling at all intermediate stations. Passengers are advised to use alternative rail or bus services if possible, especially the Northern line to/from Stockwell. London Underground tickets will be accepted on buses: 2, 36, 88, 185, 322 and 345.
Journey times may be increased by up to 25 minutes.

On the Piccadilly Line, all weekend, no service between Acton Town and Uxbridge. Two replacement bus services will operate: A service between Acton Town and Rayners Lane, calling at all intermediate Piccadilly line stations, except Park Royal; but calling additionally at Hanger Lane (on the Central line). And another service between Park Royal and Hanger Lane only.
Journey times may be increased by up to 40 minutes.

On the District Line, the Kensington Olympia service will be extended to operate until about 2245 Friday night, in connection with an event at the exhibition centre.

On the Jubilee Line, at St. John’s Wood Station, on Friday and Saturday, in connection with a reduced escalator service and World Cup Cricket at Lord’s, the station will be open for exit/entrance only at the following times:

Friday:
Open for exit only between 0800 and 1130, with a special bus service
between Swiss Cottage and Baker Street, calling at St. John’s Wood.
Open for entrance only between 1700 and 2100, with a special bus service
southbound only from Swiss Cottage to St. John’s Wood.

Saturday:
Open for exit only between 0800 and 1130, with a special bus service
between Swiss Cottage and Baker Street, calling at St. John’s Wood.
Open for entrance only between 1700 and 2100, with a special bus service
southbound only from Swiss Cottage to St. John’s Wood.

Jubilee Line Update:

Services between North Greenwich and Stratford are due to start on Friday May 14th (hopefully!). Hopefully, this page will have some pictures of the new line soon! Buses in the area have already changed. Contact LT on 0171 222 1234 for more details or go to the JLE web site
