Custom built rock sliders

Lifting the rail to get measurements of where it will mount to the frame of the Xterra (this is where I told him how far out I wanted the rail to stick out-which is only about 1 1/2 inch from body)

Close up of the ends of the rails..Notice the rounded seams.. Very nice work. (same guy who did the quick dis-connects for the sway bar)

A view showing the rock that was deflected by the slider after my tire kicked it up. You can also get a better view of where the Xterra was sitting on the slider. This is just before Mark  pulled me off the "Wall". (I was so stuck that I was draging his Xterra toward me)

Mounted, painted and now saving me from damage in Ouray. I was resting completly on the sliders.

And here we have the "damage" to the slider.. there were a few good gouges but that is about it.  Good investment??  I would have to say YES!!  Without the sliders I would have recieved quite a bit of body damage not only to the rocker panel but also the front driver door.

Total cost for bars was 275.00 plus cost of  paint  (I used paint because it is easily touched-up when you scrape the @#%&$ out of them on a rock) The shop that built them is now building them for anyone.. Keith is the person to talk to and can be reached at 972-475-3027
