Hello fellow Jeepers, Our last two summer vacations have been the best ever. We started restoring a 1983 CJ-7 about three years ago, Still not trail ready for the summer of 1997 we decided on going to Ourey Co. where we met friends and rented a Jeep. It was the last week in July but the passes were still very cool. There was still a little snow on Imogene Pass. Then in October of the same year the CJ was ready. We made a quick trip to Chama NM. to try it out. It really did great, the Aspin trees were changing colors and it was really beautiful. Back to Ourey this past July with the same friends and had another great time. My friend is thinking about buying his own Jeep for the trips ahead.
