My dad is the
President and assistant chief of the Schriever Volunteer Fire Department.
We are in the process of expanding our department to cover I-49 which will
soon pass through our coverage area.
Thanks to the
support of our area through our Fireman's Festival every year we were able
to afford to buy a few new trucks and start the construction of a bigger station, which opened recently.
