An Answered Prayer
I prayed to God for Loves return
as deep inside a fire burned;
Caught up in loneliness, a void rising high,
No sun above, no starry sky.
Alone again, all by myself
My future was placed high on a shelf;
Lost and alone, I reached out to THee,
And roamed the world virtually.
From Cyberspace, I heard a voice cry
" Your're all alone, but so am I."
A friend in need, was a delight to behold,
He too was alone left out in the cold.
Communication began, now best friends are we
Love and affection, our souls were set free;
Love beckoned to us, from out of the blue,
As our friendship progressed our love became true.
Our hearts joined together, in this
world full of strife
As Soulmates united we began a new life.
The love that we share is total bliss
Lips come together in a tender kiss.
Eternal love we had found once more,
Thank You God for your constant rapport...
Forever and always our Spirits are free
Unconditional love, between you and me.
Hearts beating together as we become one
As we walk through the clouds,
As we follow the sun.
Hands joined together in a Silent Prayer
