from Brooklyn Bridge: Continue straight across Brooklyn Bridge staying in the middle or right lanes and take first exit which is Cadman Plaza. Stay in the left lane of exit ramp and take first left onto Cadman Plaza. Cadman Plaza will turn into Court Street. Follow this for roughly a mile, crossing Atlantic Ave and then several more blocks to turn right onto Sackett St. Follow Sackett to the end and turn left onto Van Brunt St. Follow Van Brunt for roughly a mile and turn right onto Beard St. Stay on Beard to the end (one block) and turn left onto Conover St. See the barge on your right. Go to entrance gate on right and walk through open lot to Pier 44 and the Red Lehigh Valley RR Barge # 79.

from Brooklyn Battery Tunnel: Pay toll in the far right lane. After paying toll, take exit marked Hamilton Ave straight ahead and on the right. Proceed on Hamilton to first Light. Turn left at light and make a U-Turn on Hamilton under the green overpass. Be careful not to enter the tunnel on your immediate left. Proceed on Hamilton going under all green overpasses, staying in the middle to the end. (Stay in middle as Brooklyn Battery Tunnel entrance is on the left and entrances to BQE and Hicks St. are on the right. ) At the stop light at the end of Hamilton Turn left on Van Brunt. Follow Van Brunt to Beard St and turn right onto Beard to the end (one block). Turn left onto Conover St. See the barge on your right. Go to entrance gate on right and walk through open lot to Pier 44 and the Red Lehigh Valley RR Barge # 79.

from Verazanno Bridge: Take 278 E/ BQE Exit. Proceed towards the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel on 278E/BQE to the Hamilton Ave Exit 26B. Proceed on Hamilton going under all green overpasses to the end. Stay in middle as Brooklyn Battery Tunnel entrance is on the left and entrances to BQE and Hicks St. are on the right. At the stop light at the end of Hamilton Turn left on Van Brunt. Go all the way down Van Brunt to the last street before the end to Reed St. Turn Right on Reed St. Go one block. Turn left on Conover St. See the barge on your right. Go to entrance gate on right and walk through open lot to Pier 44 and the Red Lehigh Valley RR Barge # 79.

from Whitestone Bridge: Take the Hutchinson River Parkway to the Whitestone Bridge taking 678 south to 278 West which turns into the Brooklyn Queens Expressway. Take the BQE to the right hand Hamilton Avenue Exit (this is one exit past Atlantic Ave. at the Brooklyn mouth of the BatteryTunnel.) Take the right hand right marked Hamilton Avenue straight to the first stop light. Turn right on Clinton Street (Checks Cashed Store.) Turn right on Bay Street. Go along ball fields and turn left on Columbia Street. Bear left at the Todd Memorial Triangle and proceed towards Erie Basin Entrance along Columbia Street Esplanade Pier. The barge is located on the left at the beginning of the Columbia Street Esplanade Pier.
