S.A.R.A. General Information |
The flagship repeater is 147.015+, PL 156.7Hz (only when necessary due to interference). This repeater is located on a TV tower with a receive and transmit antenna at 800 feet . Additionally we have 146.640-and 224.12- (linked) with gateways to 10M and 6M FM simplex. These are located atop the tallest building in Sumter County. UHF is on 444.150+, PL123Hz with just a bit smaller coverage area. We operate a packet BBS on 145.71, with features including a call book server and TCP/IP access. We also produce a monthly newsletter. Submissions to the newsletter can be emailed to K4NOC
Although not an official S.A.R.A. repeater, many members make use of the ATV repeater belonging to WZ4O (Hap). The output is on 421.250 and input on 439.250 with audio only input also available on 144.34. You can monitor the output with an antenna connected to a TV tuned to cable channel 57. Join us for an informal roundtable every Sunday evening after the net. Aim your antenna at the Sumter County Office Building.
Meeting Information |
The Board of Directors meet each month on the 3rd Monday night, prior to the general membership meeting. The meeting starts at approximately 6:45PM.
Talk-in is always available on the 147.015 repeater.
