Welcome to my homepage. I am a Chemist, who received his Diploma in Chemistry from the University of Freiburg, Germany, in 1998 and an M.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Connecticut in 1994. In 2005 I completed my PhD thesis in Synthetic Organic Chemistry at the ETH Zuerich. I am now working in the research and development department of a Swiss fine chemicals company.
In my leisure time I like to do some sports like running, mountain-biking, inline-skating, and - in the winter - downhill and x-country skiing. Otherwise I may enjoy reading a good book, and when I have holidays I like travelling very much.
