Disclaimer/footnote/afterthought/whatever:

Leica certainly makes some wonderful cameras and lenses. However, I will be the first one to tell you that they are not the only one. There are many, many camera companies out there that make very fine bodies and lenses, too. It all depends on what your requirements are. It just happens that for my current style of photography, Leicas fit my need better and I also prefer the Leica look that only Leica lenses can give me. It is just my subjective preference and may not be what you like at all. If you think Nikon/Canon/Pentax/or any others...fits you need better and you are happy with them, I am happy for you, too.
