Hey Tina! I was too bored at work to write you a normal email, soo here goes with this html thing...

About my weekend! My goodness! IT was great Tina! The talks up in Vancouver I really liked; they were consise and well-rounded. THe topic was the Acts, but Uncle David (Tim Jennings' Dad) focussed more on how the first centuary ecclesia conducted themselves. I liked his points on how the ecclesia balanced preaching and ministering.

Thamar and I ended up going up all by ourselves. We went up right after Thamar was done with school on friday because we needed to stop by in Everett (where our seminar is going to be held) to drop off some posters advertising it in the local community college up there. We also dropped a poster off at a christian business. We saw one of those Christian fish on thier business sign and when we went inside we saw a poster with a verse on it on the wall next to plaque with a prayer on it and another huge fish that was on a office door. The funny thing was, the girl at the front desk was so suprised when I told her that I noticed that she was Christian! lol!

Crossing the border into Canada was easy as pie. Coming back on Sunday night wasn't. It was better than it could have been, though. Matt Fern, a guy who goes to Vancouver meeting, told us of a sneaky way to get to the border crossing to miss the huge line-up that was at the border. So we only had a 20 minute wait instead of a 2-4 hour one that everyone else needed to get through! When we got to the border, there was only one stall open and three people were there, checking each vehicle. We had to pull to the side and have our car checked more thourghly because they thought THamar was acting suspiciously. They had told her to switch the engine off, but she was so nervous that she kept switching it on instead! It was funny.

Speaking of funny, all the way across the border Thamar and I had no gas and we were so worried that we would run out somewhere. I was sure that there was a Texaco (the gas company that my Family ALWAYS buys at) "just down the road." After about half an hour of driving and passing two or three other gas stations, Thamar was just about to kill me and was saying that I would have to push (in the rain) if we ran out when we rounded a corner...and saw a Texaco! We were so releved that we were screaming exitedly all the way in.

The reason why we delayed getting gas was because my credit card was stolen. And my driver's licence. And all my sister's clothes. And my brand-new $50 perfume. And my contacts. And my toiletries!! It happend on the Friday evening nogal while Kabluee was in the Vancouver meeting's parking lot! We arrrived a hour early, but Dean was there, so we went inside. Our stuff must have been stolen in the hour between that and when everyone else started to arrive.

Andy was up there, and man, that guy is so sweet. So is Graeme. He was so sweet to us and to everyone (esp the older ladies!)! I think he's a fine guy. Both of them are.

On the saturday evening all us young people hung out at the eccleisal hall and guzzled pizza while playing wink, shuffle butt and pictionry. And you'll never guess who suggested wink. Dan, of all people. I was very suprised! Pictionary was the best though - Shawn, Andy, David Drysdale (can you belive that his kid is due tomorrow!!!) and I were dynamite together and went absolutly phsyco - screaming and cheering like nuts.

We stayed at Jolene's house and it was awesome. We stayed up sooo late every night just chatting to her. She's so cool to talk to, and we have so many mutual friends back east that we can share stories about! ;o)

On sunday, we went on a hike, which was also very cool. You know how much i like hikes! This one was a walk in the park (literally) though, so i don't really want to call it a "hike"!

On sunday, Paul went and took the spot i was sitting in, so i was forced to sit next to him (there was no other spots open) so of course we ended up neeaarly arguing quite a few times. We were all buddy-buddy by the end of the week though. lol what a wierd guy!

anyways, I luv you lots and lots and lots!!!
