The most notable feature in this area is the largest mountain in the Solar
System, Olympus Mons. Like all volcanoes on Mars this one is not (yet?) active.
Due to it's gentle slope you need to take a plane to see this giant in all
it's majesty. Or you could go dining in the stratospheric restaurant in Kenwood,
with ten kilometers the tallest manmade structure on the planet, after the
space elevator. |
