More about Mars, Time and Terraforming:
The
Martian Time Website |
Here's one of the least populated areas of Mars. Less than a hundred thousand Martians choose to live in the prairies of Cimmeria and the true desert of Chronia, most of them living in and around Primrose Hill in Wells Crater. In Cimmeria the North-American buffalo can be found in large numbers. In Chronia you can still frequently spot dust devils, the Martian mini-tornadoes that reach hights of up to eight kilometers and that have become rare in many other parts of the planet. In the far south are some enormous gletschers and snowfields, like there are more to be found in the polar region, beyond the map's border. |
