Program Description and Course Requirements
This link gives an overview of the program and the courses needed for graduation.

Every biomedical engineering technology program at an accredited institution is designed to prepare individuals for a rewarding and challenging career as a BMET. The academic preparation involves interdisciplinary instruction in engineering technology and physiological systems. A typical curriculum covers analog and digital electronic theory and applications, biomedical instrumentation fundamentals and design, principles of physiological systems, and communication skills. Since one of the most important functions of a BMET is to ensure the functional readiness of biomedical equipment, electrical safety testing and maintenance procedures are a top priority. A biomedical practicum or internship at area hospitals is often offered in most programs to provide hands-on experience in the work place.
