Symposium 2001

On Thursday May 10, 2001 from 9 AM till 11:30 AM the annual Biomedical Engineering Technology Symposium will be held in Room 207 on the North Haven campus. There will be a discussion about the BMET field by a prominent BMET manager as well as student presentation(s) of projects. Bagels and tea/coffeee will be served . The BMET program at GWCTC is one of only 8 ABET accredited programs in the country, and the only one in New England.


SYMPOSIUM '99

Gateway Community-Technical College held its annual BMET Symposium on May 13, 1999 on the North Haven Campus.

Shown here are, from the left, students Jeffrey Samy, Krzysztof Kaminski, Andrew DellaValle and Andrea Burke. All four students presented their senior projects at the symposium.


The featured speaker, Mr. Nicholas Noyes (on the right), Director of Clinical Engineering at UCONN Health Center and President of the New England Society of Clinical Engineering (NESCE) congratulates Krzysztof Kaminski who was the recipient of the NESCE award for most outstanding project presentation.
