AIM 9'S

Aim 9's are the most fun when playing on janes combat net. And even when your
playing full load out you only have 2 mrm120s and one bandit may go down and
the next will evade the missle. Then you will have to go with your 9's.
There are a couple types of 9's. One that is all aspect, which means you can fire it
at an oncoming  bandit or going away. The 9p's are only to be fired from behind the
bandit.
Anyway what I like to do and has helped me alot is the radar sniff.
After I have fired my mrm120's I usually dive hard and low then sniff my radar, then
I use the enemy padlock to keep looking for the bandit, dont forget what direction
he was traveling in.
One of the first things I do when a bandit fires at me is climb or dive immedietly,
because the aim 9s just dont climb or dive at all.
Remember that and it will save you tail more than one or two times.
Sometimes you know where the missle is coming from and can just pump out a couple
flares while banking left or right.
In the picture below you can see that the radar is sniffed and the bandit is after my wing man and doesnt even know im behind him cause his radar warning receiver
isnt picking up anything.
Use your padlock or use your radar for a second to find out which plane is the bandit
then sniff it and keep your eye on him.
