The Florence & George S.Wise Observatory, Israel
Leader of the computer-software department at the observatory, Peter and I stands outside the observatory building. Star trails (Jupiter is the brightest. The second brightest is Saturn) as seen from The Florence & George S.Wise Observatory at Mizpe Ramon in the Negev Desert. I spent the night at the roof of the observatory while the astronomers were studying light-variations of a variable star in the constellation of Gemini. |
