Mitsubishi A6M3 Zero Type 32

This is Hasegawa's 1/48 Zero Type32 kit JT18. This is the second Type-32 I've build and the fourth Hasegawa Zero. The construction is the same as for the other three and the only difference is the markings options.

I think I'm Zeroed out about now but I built this version in concert with my model of Saburo Sakai's Mitsubishi A6M2a Zero Type11. This review I did as well as the other two the Nakajima A6M2-N "Rufe" and Mitsubishi A6M3 Zero Type 32 Houkoku cover just about everything I found out about building Hasegawa's Zero's.

Markings are provided for three aircraft. The one I did with the 2nd Flying Group in overall grey and two in the green and grey scheme. The first is identified as serving with the Tsukuba Flying group and the second from the Tianan Flying Group flown by NAP 1/C Takeo Tanimizu.

The kit builds up just as easily and looks as good as the other three. I still have a few Zero's left in my collection and want to add some of the green and grey machines to it but I think I'll take a bit of a break from Zero's for awhile.

As with the other three Zero's, I assembled this one with Tenax-7R and Humbrol cement and painted it with Testor's ModelMaster enamels. The fit was so good that no filler was required.
