Dire straits jethro tull
: deep purple : great band , a bit loud at times for my taste but have Some great numbers worth listening led zep : "stairway to heaven" a classic in its own right the fantastic guitar pieces pink floyd : fantastic onscreen performers backed up by Some great guitar bits eric clapton : love his unplugged versions , magnifique on the guitar combine his soft vocals & voila recipe for a musical masterpiece. carlos santana : guru, virtuoso in the field of guitar playing the rhythm & melody in his works is fantastic john mclaughlin : mind-boggling versatility at ease in rock, jazz, latino or fusion satriani, vanessa mae, grover washington great performers all of them. I love the guitar in rock; a bit of sax in jazz ; & the violin in classical (esp. brahms' & vivaldi'scompositions).
Travelling I jus love to move around . I have inherited it from my folks. till now I've only been moving around India, & found it to b huge, in terms of land, geographical diversity, attitudes of ppl, customs practiced in the various parts of the country. These r jus Some of the places I've been to & my impressions of them Kashmir Paradise itself may not b as beautiful. With its rivers & mountain ranges With snow covered peaks it's is a great place to visit. Ppl r nice warm & friendly With nice lovely rosy cheeks. I had my first & last of experience of snow out in this most northern state of India. Srinigar, Jammu, Pahalgam, Gulmarg r the sights to b seen Himachal Pradesh Simla the small town-capital of this hilly ,apple growing state. The apples r lusciously sweet & so r The folks hard working, Kasauli a sleepy little hill station With an airfare base With a breathtaking view of The Himalayas & serenity peace & quiet u find in The metros only after 2 AM in The morning. Dharamsala is one place I have to go yet (heard a lot of raves about it) Uttar pradesh I have traveled in the hilly region of this state ; Naintal, Mussorie both r lovely places worth visiting With their tals or lakes. Corbett national park is a wonderful place for nature lovers. Maharashtra The most industrialized state in The country & my home state. Bombay The only metro in India. to have a really effective transportation system Ppl out here r open to ideas & r workaholics. Has Some lovely beaches as well as hill stations. Alibag, Mahad, Ganpatipule being some of The beaches, mahableshwar, panchgani & matheran making up the better known hill stations. Ppl in general a bit on the easy goin side. Goa
I'd love to visit Lakshwadeep islands, Coorg (Karnataka), Darjeeling, Sikkim & Kerala But this is jus India. & The whole world is yet to b mapped..........
Soccer (football) I simply cant get enuf of this game, still try to keep in touch. I'm a huge fan of Manchester United. Great team With fantastic & exciting stars like Beckham, Solskjaer, Staam,...... With The national sides I like The Dutch side The best, a bit better than The naturals at The game ,The Brazilians, kluivert, overmaars, bergkamp, de boers,..... great side , they were my favs to win The 98 world cup. The brazilians in this field r simply cut above The rest. (thats what I feel anyway)
Automobiles Michael schumacher is without doubt one of The great drivers in The history of F1 racing. Fantastic skill & nerves can come back from anywhere to virtually beat The opponents. He's my fav driver without doubt. My fav dream car is The : Jaguar XK8 or Aston Martin db7; both of them built on The same chassis & same styling But differ in The capacity of The engines. (which makes up for most of The difference). I also particularly like The Dodge Ram & The Viper which share The same massive, all-powerful V-10. chevy corvette's without doubt r one of The best lookers With great performance. Merc's ,Bentley's & Rolls' r obviously The ultimate in snobbery.
