Your description of how you got into astronomy is inspriational. I really enjoyed reading it. Although we are from such completely different backgrounds, it is heart warming to see that we share the same awe of the universe.

Nice site. I hope your scopes are coming along ok. My main scope was a 10" homebuild truss dob for a long time, and it was and still is a pleasure to use.

Bob, I used thin aluminum cut on a sheet metal shear and attached to wood altitude blocks for a 10" dob I built. I attached with silicone glue and a couple of small nails. The action was very smooth.

Bob, Your page is coming along very nicely! Hope all is well with you and your family, and that the 13" mirror is continuing to progress. I'm not sure when my next trip to Jakarta will be, perhaps sometime in the fall. I'll let you know! Howard

Hi Bob, Congratulation your HP. Genau, It's OK and full information about ATM. When I was in Suez Channel (24/04/1999)at 7:20pm I saw explosion star (supernova ?) probably, the location just 7 dec east from Orion. Anybody can give me confirmation about these ?? Virgo wrote from Cairo-Eygpt (May 1999).

Hi Bob! Jour home page is an actual pleasure. I am happy having a face to place behind your name. And your appearance recalls me many very pleasant memories of Java. It's fun to see my telescope at the other end of the world. Yesterday, I went in altitude whith it and observed Moon and Jupiter. Pictures were very sharp and stable. Friendly Jean Marc

Bob, Neat homepage. I bet you'll have fun with your 5.6" scope. I recently finished a 5.6" f/4.8 scope, with homeground mirror. It's great. Regards, Rob O. New Hampshire, USA

Bob, A very nice and very informative site! I am planning my first scope, and I learned a lot from what you wrote. My page, listed above, is not yet about astronomy -- just pictures of my daughter's family. Clear skies.
