What's New at LC
This is where to find out information on what is currently going on at Lake Central for Science Olympiad.Last updated: March 18th 2001.
LC will be competing at State this year. I heard a rumor that we weren't going and lost in a tiebreaker to Winimac. I checked up on the situation and we appear to be going!! Way to go LC!! I am proud of you kids. If any of you would like to tell me what is going on, email me!! I would love to hear from you!! Good luck at state!! Also my middle school Kahler will be heading down state as well. Good Luck to you kids too.
Last year at regionals we placed 2nd in our division and 2nd overall. We will be heading down to State at Indiana University on March 25th. Our regionals were delayed 2 hours due to bad weather. Both of our middle schools went down to state as well. Kahler and Grimmer. At state, we got dead last. We were pretty proud. Our only medal came in Cell Biology. 2nd place. Way to go me and Matt Yates!! Also I want to congratulate Valpo High School and Peru who went down with us from our regional.

Hello everyone. I am now going to Arizona State University. Obviously, I won't be on the Science Olympiad team anymore. For the 2000-2001 season, Vanessa Watters is president. Matt Yates is VP, and Chris is the secretary. If you want to be on the team, or want information, please contact one of them.
