I was unable to post a blog on Wednesday January 21. I had a denist appointment on Tuesday and a doctor appointment on Wednesday. I have not cavities and my cholesterol is high. It did not stop me from having fun in San Bruno, Daly City, and San Francisco on Tuesday and Wednesday. I went to two different places to eat at after my appointments on both days. Just thought I would post up a food blog and let you decide if it would be a nice place to go eat at.

Little Lucca Sandwich Shop & Deli in South San Francisco

I heard about this nice little place to get a good sandwich from my dad. He mention that his co-worker bought in a good sandwich that had good dressing in it. When I went in there on Tuesday there was a long line. People from businesses nearby plus the students from South San Francisco High School were in line to get a good sandwich. The sandwich that I got was a roast beef on slice white bread. I was delicious with the bottle of Snapple that I had with it. Compare to the sandwiches that I had from Safeway, Subway, or Quiznos this one would get my best vote as a great sandwich to have. It is too bad that I have to commute across the Bay Bridge to get a great sandwich.

Barracuda Japanese Restaurant in Daly City

This restaurant I have not had since December. Since I was at the Serremonte Center I might as well have some Japanese food for dinner. I ate there on Inauguration Day, the day that Barack Obama was sworn in as the 44th President of the United States of America. It was a nice restaurant with a nice bar and a television which the volume is always on mute. It was tune into KPIX 5 showing the CBS Evening News showing Barack Obama Inauguration. I had a Chicken/Salmon Teriyaki Combination dinner at a reasonable price under $15 (I think it was at least in the $13 range). The dinner was good. The lack of getting the server attention was not good at all since they don’t pay attention that you’re done with your dinner and you want to get your bill. This was not the first time that it had happen to me at that restaurant. It is a good restaurant if you and your date want to have a romantic dinner.

Kana Japanese Cuisine in Daly City

I tried this restaurant out on Wednesday night right before I went home for the night. I remember that this restaurant was the only place to get the Lion King. I had a salmon teriyaki dinner at least $12 something. It was good similar to the dinner that I had at Barracuda the previous night. The service was much better which my server and the others pay attention that I needed more water and that I was done with my dinner. Nice atmosphere and the televisions are always on the Food Network even though the volume is always on mute.

Tokyo Teriyaki Japanese Restaurant in Daly City

I have not tried this restaurant out for a few months just as I have not tried Kana for awhile. My dinner at Kana did not fill me up so I decided to walk across the street to have another dinner but this time at Tokyo Teriyaki. The restaurant has been in business since 1977. It surprised me since the whole area was renovated a few years ago (I think there use to be a shopping mall before they renovated everything). It was a quiet atmosphere plus it felt like a regular Japanese restaurant with nothing too fancy without a television involved. The service was friendly with the servers thanking the people in Japanese after finishing your meal. I had a Chicken Teriyaki which had a bit more vegetable on my plate for a reasonable price at least $12 something.
